Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
